Drew McIntyre, MVP

On this week's episode of Monday Night Raw, MVP made a surprise appearance to present MVP's VIP Lounge. After introducing his guest Drew McIntyre, The Franchise Playa admitted his in-ring career was now behind him and offered to be McIntyre's manager. Ultimately, The Scottish Psychopath rejected his proposal and hit MVP with a Glasgow Kiss. He then counted down and delivered a vicious Claymore Kick.

After facing Rey Mysterio on the January 27 episode of Raw, MVP appeared on the

and told Corey Graves that he planned to become a backstage producer. This is seemingly the direction the former IWGP Intercontinental Champion has gone in as

Mike Johnson at PWInsider

confirmed that he is set to be hired by WWE as a producer in the coming weeks.

The former United States Champion is close to Raw Executive Director Paul Heyman and the pair look set to work closely together for the foreseeable future.

For the avoidance of doubt, Johnson penned: "The word making the rounds over the last several weeks has been that MVP was possibly coming in to work as a Producer for the company. That talk persisted tonight backstage at Raw, so if all works out, that looks to be his eventual role for the company."
