On this week's episode of Dynamite, members of The Inner Circle attacked Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall. This brought out members of The Elite and the two factions brawled around the ring. Two members of The Elite notable by their absence, however, were Nick Jackson and Kenny Omega.

Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that neither Jackson or Omega were scheduled to be on the show, as Nick is by his wife's side while she gives birth, and Kenny suffered a broken little finger and missed Dynamite to recover and get the injury put in a cast.

Meltzer said: "I mean he's (Nick Jackson) banged up from the match. None of the four guys were going to wrestle tonight because of that match. That match was ridiculous. After his wife gives birth he'll be back but I don’t think he's going to be going on the road until then. Nick Jackson was not at the show. They said Kenny Omega wasn't at the show, I presume he wasn't. I know he's got a broken little finger but he's not going to need surgery on it, so he's going to get it casted."
