Report: Red Velvet Possibly Injured

Another AEW talent might be dealing with an injury.

The likes of Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole, and CM Punk are all currently out of action with various issues and Red Velvet might be joining them on the shelf. According to Fightful Select, Velvet "may have been banged up" at last week's tapings of AEW Dynamite and Rampage in Independence, Missouri and she was carted around after the show. Velvet was in action on Rampage in a loss to former friend Kris Statlander.

Velvet has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since the summer of 2020 and she was signed by the promotion in March of 2021, just before she teamed with Cody Rhodes against Shaquille O'Neal and Jade Cargill. Red then went on to unsuccessfully challenge Britt Baker for the AEW Women's World Championship.

Following that, Velvet competed in the TBS Title Tournament and she aligned with Cargill and Kiera Hogan earlier this year as The Baddies. She holds a 13-4 record in 2022.
