A new faction was formed on last week's edition of AEW: Dynamite. After a dysfunctional partnership cost The Lucha Brothers and The Butcher & The Blade victory against The Natural Nightmares and Jurassic Express, new AEW signing Eddie Kingston made his way to the ring.

The War King cut a promo and told the other four men they should be tag team champions, but being divided is holding them back. He then said the only way they will succeed is by working together. The two tag teams ultimately agreed with Kingston and the five AEW stars embraced in the centre of the ring to end the segment.

Sean Ross Sapp at Fightful revealed Kingston's promo didn't air in its original form as AEW decided to edit out a mention of Rey Mysterio. Sapp noted he wasn't told why the young promotion decided to remove Mysterio's name from the broadcast.

This wasn't the only segment on Saturday Night Dynamite that AEW edited, according to Fightful. The discussion between Britt Baker, Reba, Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford was originally shot in the ring but the young promotion decided to re-film it because of time constraints. Ivelisse and Diamante's entrance was also redone because cameras hadn't been correctly positioned, while a Back Elbow spot in The Dark Order vs. The Elite match was re-shot because one of the wrestlers "got caught up in the ropes."
