Report: Why WWE Changed Keith Lee's Entrance Music Revealed

The new entrance theme was not well received...

Earlier this week, Keith Lee made his debut on Monday Night Raw with new entrance music and ring gear. Fans have been critical of the changes and many have questioned why the company decided to alter anything with the former NXT Champion's gimmick.

Fightful Select revealed yesterday that WWE changed Keith's entrance song as part of a wider campaign of ditching any music produced by CFO$. The group reportedly signed a "terrible" deal with Arcade Songs in which the publisher receives half of all royalties. The wrestling behemoth tried to buy CFO$ out of their contract with Arcade Songs, but the publisher rejected this idea.

Fightful noted WWE has asked other Superstars to change their entrance theme but many have refused because they hated the new music. DJDTP has reportedly been creating new entrance music for the company since February 2019.

WWE has seemingly heard the backlash against Keith Lee's new theme as ArenaTaping reported on Twitter that The Limitless One will be receiving an updated theme at Payback.

ArenaTaping tweeted: "For those unsatisfied with Keith Lee's new theme, he is getting an updated theme with lyrics by Sergio Veneno at #WWEPayback."
