Report: Rhea Ripley Expected To Move To The WWE Main Roster

Her time in NXT is seemingly over...

At NXT New Year's Evil, Rhea Ripley and Raquel Gonzalez battered each other for 17 minutes during their Last Woman Standing match. Gonzalez ultimately picked up the win after she One-Arm Powerbombed The Nightmare through the stage.

According to PWInsider's Mike Johnson, last night was supposed to be Ripley's final match on the black and gold brand and WWE is planning to call her up to the main roster. Those plans could change "based on the whims of Vince McMahon," however.

Ripley isn't the only NXT Superstar heading to the main roster. Recent reports have noted that Damian Priest was scheduled to debut on last week's Friday Night SmackDown as Kevin Owens' best friend. Owens didn't think The Archer Of Infamy was believable as his best friend, though, and the plan was nixed following a chat with Roman Reigns.

As of writing, Priest is scheduled to debut on Monday Night Raw later this month, but no plan in WWE is final until it is put into action.
