Report: Riddle May Not Have Re-Signed With WWE

The situation becomes unclear

Back in December, a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that Riddle had "pretty much agreed to terms" on a new three-year contract with WWE. The downside guarantee on the table was $400,000 per year along with an additional $50,000 for every Saudi Arabia show he worked.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful later reported that Riddle had put pen to paper on the new deal in late-December. The King Of Bros was said to be uninterested in renewing his contract following an initial offer from WWE, but that all changed after the company came back with the new terms. His original deal was set to expire in August 2021.

The situation around Riddle's contract has since become unclear, though. Bryan Alvarez reported on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Live that he doesn't think The Original Bro has re-signed with the company.

Alvarez said: "Remember when they offered him a new deal? I don't think he's signed yet. I just want to throw that out there."
