Report: Roderick Strong Has Signed New WWE NXT Contract
It appears Strong is sticking with the black-and-gold brand

Roderick Strong has reportedly put pen-to-paper on a new WWE NXT contract.
Strong was written off NXT television in April of this year, with the former member of the Undisputed Era 'resigning' from his position on the black-and-gold brand. However, the former North American Champion made his return two weeks ago as a leading member of The Diamond Mine along with Malcolm Bivens, Tyler Rust and Hachiman.
Fightful Select is reporting that, during Strong's time away from TV and ahead of the debut of The Diamond Mine, he agreed to terms on a contract extension with NXT. It is also noted that Strong's contract extension was agreed prior to his wife, Marina Shafir, being released from the company.
The report goes on to say that Strong features heavily in NXT's plans for the rest of the year with the 37-year-old expected to be a big player in the brand's efforts to add marquee value to the NXT Cruiserweight Championship going forward.
Strong has been with NXT since 2016 and is also a former two-time NXT Tag Team Champion.
