Report: Roman Reigns To Lead A Faction On WWE SmackDown

Paul Davis of WrestlingNews.co recently reported that WWE creative has discussed having Roman Reigns lead a heel faction with Jimmy and Jey Uso, with other members to be added at a later date. They also noted Hell In A Cell would be the "next big chapter" in the storyline. 

The storyline did take its next turn at last night's pay-per-view as Reigns defeated Jey in a Hell In A Cell "I Quit" match. The Usos will now have to serve The Tribal Chief as his indentured servants. 

The plans for Reigns to lead a stable have seemingly been finalised by WWE creative. Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. reported the current plan is for Jey to eventually join forces with The Big Dog in an "if you can't beat them, join them" storyline. Reigns will be presented as the provider for the family, and as the six-time tag team champion needs to provide for his family, he will fall in line with the Tribal Chief. Giri noted he didn't know if Jimmy would be part of the group. 

WrestlingNews.co later provided an update on their original report. They added that Jimmy will indeed be part of the faction and The Usos are currently scheduled to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship when he returns from injury in early 2021.
