It has been heavily speculated upon by fans and Roman Reigns vs. Oba Femi is indeed planned for WWE WrestleMania 43.

Oba Femi addressed Roman Reigns on the Money in the Bank post-show, saying: "Tribal Chief, no more running. It’s about that time." That doesn't mean the match will be taking place in the near future, however, and Dave Meltzer has reported on Wrestling Observer Radio the current plan is for the match to take place at WrestleMania.

"What I was told is that he was reacting to the crowd and thought that was what he should do because the crowd was really into it, but the match is not scheduled for Survivor Series. Obviously Roman is going to be in the WarGames. The plan is WrestleMania. He just got excited because the fans all wanted it and he had to respond," Meltzer said about Oba Femi calling out Roman Reigns following Money in the Bank.

Roman Reigns is the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, having won the belt from CM Punk in the main event of WrestleMania 42. Oba Femi, meanwhile, won the 2026 King of the Ring tournament, although he decided to forego challenging for a world title at SummerSlam in order to face Brock Lesnar in a rubber match.

WrestleMania 43 is currently scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with the event tentatively pencilled in for April 10 and April 11, 2027.
