Report: Ronda Rousey Not Considering Return To UFC

Rousey's future remains a topic of speculation

A return to the Octagon is not in the cards for Ronda Rousey.

Rowdy Ronda was one of the UFC's biggest stars, prior to her retirement in 2016 (following a loss to Amanda Nunes). She left the sport with a 12-2 record.

Rumours that Rousey might be about to return to MMA started when UFC featherweight Chelsea Chandler claimed that she had heard that might be the case during the UFC Vegas 77 media day.

Ariel Helwani took to Twitter to dispel those rumours, writing "Ronda Rousey is not considering a UFC comeback, I'm told. No truth to the rumors started yesterday"

While a UFC comeback doesn't appear likely, Rousey's WWE future looks uncertain.

Currently embroiled in a feud with her former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion partner Shayna Baszler, Ronda reportedly has a 'hard out' date and could be set to leave the promotion soon.

The Baddest Woman on the Planet returned to WWE for her second run at the 2022 Royal Rumble (where she won the women's Royal Rumble match).
