Report: Ronda Rousey Officially Undergoes WWE Heel Turn

A change for Ronda Rousey in WWE

Ronda Rousey has undergone a character change within WWE.

The UFC Hall of Famer was listed as a babyface on WWE's internal roster but that has changed following the Extreme Rules pay-per-view on October 8, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider. Instead, Rousey is now considered a heel within WWE.

Rousey had been transitioning to more of a heel character since she returned from a storyline suspension after the SummerSlam pay-per-view. Her new attitude primarily came to light through her animosity towards Liv Morgan but it was on full display following her SmackDown Women's Title win at Extreme Rules in which she told "neckbeards" to cry more.

Rousey had previously been a babyface since she returned to WWE at this year's Royal Rumble.

The Brawling Brutes have also undergone a character change and are now officially babyfaces. Sheamus, Butch, and Ridge Holland have garnered more and more cheers in recent weeks courtesy of their widely-praised feud with Imperium's Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, and Giovanni Vinci over the Intercontinental Championship.
