Cruz Montana was the latest addition to WWE's 946 faction, joining Royce Keys, Carmelo Hayes, Lucien Price, Bronco Nima, and Jaida Parker in the stable to close out the November 2 episode of Monday Night Raw from Brooklyn, New York.

The main event of Raw was Royce Keys vs. Solo Sikoa but the match ended in a DQ win for Sikoa after 946 bum-rushed the ring and laid out Solo as he was about to deliver a Samoan Spike. Roman Reigns and The Usos soon made the save to prompt a post-match brawl and Reigns looked set to deliver a spear to Royce Keys when a figure in a balaclava appeared and threw a chair into the WWE World Heavyweight Champion's face. The figure then connected with Spin the Block and removed their balaclava to reveal it was the former Mike Santana. 946 then proceeded to lay out the rest of The Bloodline, with Royce Keys and co. standing tall to end the show.

False Finish has reported that Cruz Montana's inclusion in 946 was another Royce Keys decision, similar to OTM and Carmelo Hayes joining the faction that was formed in August 2026.

With plans in place for WarGames at Survivor Series to be five vs. five, both teams are seemingly set with Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, and Jacob Fatu vs. Royce Keys, Cruz Montana, Carmelo Hayes, Lucien Price, and Bronco Nima.

Despite his main roster call-up, Cruz Montana isn't quite finished with NXT as he is still set to face Dion Lennox in an Unsanctioned Match on the November 4 episode of NXT with UFC's Michael Chandler as the special enforcer.

Montana made his full-time WWE NXT debut on the July 21 episode of NXT, shortly after he finished up with TNA. Montana has been featured in and around the NXT Title picture during what has proved to be a short stint on the developmental brand.
