Report: Ruby Riott Expected To Join AEW

Riott looks to be AEW bound

Former WWE Superstar Ruby Riott is expected to join All Elite Wrestling.

Fightful Select reported today that AEW's "plans call" for Ruby Riott to make her way into the promotion, according to talent and industry insiders. Ruby's non-compete clause is believed to be up shortly before the All Out pay-per-view on September 5 and she will join AEW's women's division.

All Elite Wrestling's creative plans for Riott remain unknown and Fightful noted they have not confirmed Ruby's signing with the promotion. Talent that have worked with Riott in the past gave her work, attitude and backstage demeanour "glowing reviews."

Riott previously spent five years with WWE from 2016 until June 2021, when she was released by the company. She spent much of her time with Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan in The Riott Squad.

Since her departure, Riott has kept a low profile but she has rebranded herself as Ruby Soho as a nod to Punk Rock band Rancid and their third album And Out Come The Wolves.
