Report: Salina De La Renta Training At WWE Performance Center
Could the former MLW star be WWE bound?
Former MLW star Salina de la Renta has been spotted training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
The news comes per a report from Fightful Select, and it’s unknown if de la Renta was training in-ring, doing workouts, tryouts, or promo class work. However the news comes as no surprise as WWE have apparently been interested in her ‘for some time’.
Fans of de la Renta had an inkling about talks between Salina and WWE as de la Renta herself has recently been in the process of closing down her Patreon, Cameo account, and online store - a usual giveaway if someone is potentially about to sign with WWE due to WWE wanting to control image rights, likeness rights, merchandising etc.
So far, it is unconfirmed as to what role WWE are potentially eyeing her for, whether it be in-ring, or a managerial/valet position.
De la Renta was a mainstay of MLW, departing the organisation in May 2021. While a part of MLW, she became the first Latina star to produce pro wrestling on American TV with MLW Fusion.
