Report: Sami Zayn Dealing With An Injury

A star of Friday Night SmackDown is reportedly dealing with an injury.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sami Zayn is currently out of action with an arm injury, which is why he had the limb in a sling on the July 15 edition of SmackDown. The injury is said to be minor, though, and WWE are hopeful the former Intercontinental Champion will be able to wrestle again in a few weeks. 

Zayn has found himself involved near the top of the card on the blue brand in recent months, having established himself as an associate of The Bloodline. The Great Liberator even teamed with The Usos back in May on Monday Night Raw but they were defeated by Riddle and The Street Profits. 

When he does return from injury, fans will be able to watch Zayn in a WWE ring for years to come as he signed a new deal with the company several months ago. The former NXT Champion explained that he decided to stay with WWE because he is very happy in the organisation and feels creatively stimulated.
