Report: Update On Matt Jackson Following AEW Dynamite Injury

Latest on Matt Jackson after his stinger last week

All Elite Wrestling's injury crisis only worsened on July 13 after it emerged Matt Jackson had suffered a stinger during the AEW World Tag Team Title match at Fyter Fest Week One. The two-time AEW World Tag Team Champion reportedly suffered the injury when taking a Vertical Suplex.

In an update, though, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Matt Jackson is "doing a lot better" and the injury was akin to having bad whiplash. Jackson has not suffered any loss of strength and his mobility and range of motion are both back to normal.

Jackson was said to be very sore from the injury, though, and it could be a few weeks before he returns to the squared circle.

As it stands, this leaves Nick Jackson as the only member of The Undisputed Elite not dealing with an injury, with Kenny Omega, Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O'Reilly also out of action alongside Matt Jackson.

AEW are reportedly hopeful that Omega and Cole will return in time for All Out. There is no word on when O'Reilly and Fish might be back in the ring.
