Report: Sasha Banks Dealing With Sprained Leg Following WWE House Show

An injury for Banks

Sasha Banks appears to have avoided a serious injury.

The former SmackDown Women's Champion faced Charlotte Flair at a house show in Fayetteville, North Carolina on Sunday, January 2, and Banks appeared to suffer an injury during the match.

Following an Over-The-Knee Backbreaker, Banks' left leg was planted awkwardly during the move. She was able to continue the match for several spots before she and Charlotte went to the finish, though, with Flair winning following a Natural Selection to retain the SmackDown Women's Championship. Banks was then helped to the back by WWE officials and she noted on Twitter that she was "good."

In an update, PWInsider noted The Boss was dealing with a sprained leg following the match. There is no word on if Banks will miss any time.

The Blueprint had been ever-present on WWE's recent house shows, competing throughout the company's Holiday tour for the SmackDown Women's Title in singles matches against Charlotte Flair and twice in a Triple Threat also featuring Toni Storm, who has since quit the company.
