Report: Sasha Banks Extends WWE Contract

"The Boss" is sticking around...

Close to six months ago, Sasha Banks' future with WWE seemed cloudy at best, but it now appears that she's committed to the promotion for some time longer.

According to Sean Ross Sapp at Fightful, Banks has agreed to an extended deal with WWE, with the specific terms not readily known.

According to one of Sapp's sources, the agreement was reached upon Banks' return to the company, which occurred the night after SummerSlam in August.

Banks walked out of WWE right after WrestleMania 35 in April, where she and partner Bayley lost the Women's Tag Team titles in a four way match to The IIconics.

Reports at the time were that Banks was frustrated with the sudden end to her and Bayley's reign, among other issues, and had actually requested her release from the company.

Banks later spoke about her walkout, claiming burnout due to seven non-stop years of devoting herself to wrestling.

"The Boss" is scheduled to wrestle Becky Lynch for the Raw Women's title at Hell in a Cell on October 6, in the event's titular match.
