Report: Scrapped Plans For WWE Raw Pose-Down Revealed

There wasn't originally going to be just a lot of flexing on WWE Raw

WWE originally had different plans for the main event segment on last week's edition of Monday Night Raw.

For an unknown reason, WWE decided to end the June 13 episode of Raw with a pose-down between Bobby Lashley and Theory which involved both men flexing on a podium while covered in baby oil.

It was ultimately determined by the fans in attendance that Lashley was the winner but the two-time WWE Champion didn't have time to celebrate as Theory squirted baby oil in The All Mighty's eyes. This sent a blind Lashley to the back while Theory took selfies with the United States Championship to end Raw.

The main event segment was originally set to have more of a comedic tone, though. According to Fightful Select, R-Truth was originally pitched to be involved in the pose-down and several materials were even brought to Raw for him to use as comedic relief. There is no word on why WWE scrapped those plans.

R-Truth has found himself primarily involved in the 24/7 Championship picture in recent years.
