Report: AEW Dark Talent Attend WWE Tryouts

Will WWE add them to the roster?

WWE held tryouts for female talent on May 6 and May 7 in Orlando, Florida and AEW Dark talents Tesha Price and Alex Gracia were both in attendance, according to Fightful Select. Independent wrestlers Ava Everett and Natalia Markova were also at the tryout.

Tesha Price has been wrestling since 2017 and has worked for WWE previously. She faced Britt Baker in a dark match during the 2018 Mae Young Classic and she also wrestled Lacey Evans in a squash match on an episode of NXT. Price has regularly featured on AEW Dark since November 2020 as an enhancement talent, facing the likes of Ryo Mizunami, Red Velvet and Serena Deeb.

Ava Everett made her debut back in 2018 and she has competed for the likes of SHINE, CZW and Beyond Wrestling. She has been regularly featured on Limitless Wrestling shows in recent months.

Alex Gracia has wrestled on AEW Dark and NWA Powerrr in 2021 already and she faced Hikaru Shida at AEW Holiday Bash in December. She previously attended a WWE tryout in 2019.

This also wasn't Natalia Markova's first WWE tryout and she previously auditioned for the company in 2017. She started her career in Russia back in 2009 and she spent the early years of her career in her home country. She has since branched out and has wrestled for the likes of Evolve and PROGRESS in recent years. She is also the reigning SHINE Nova Champion.

According to PWInsider, many others at the tryouts were talent from outside of professional wrestling.
