Report: Shawn Daivari Returns To WWE As A Producer

Daivari is back with the company

Shawn Daivari was present at the June 11 SmackDown taping and he has returned to WWE, according to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider

There has been a push from within WWE to bring in more producers as the company prepares to go back on the road to alleviate workloads and Daivari was brought back as a result. He previously worked backstage as a producer from January 2019 until April 2020, but he was released as part of budget cuts following the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Daivari remained active during his time away from WWE and returned to the ring at IMPACT Wrestling Bound For Glory in October 2020. He went on to wrestle for IMPACT until February 2021 and he also spent time performing in the UWN and MLW. He was working as a producer in the National Wrestling Alliance as recently as two weeks ago.

With his return, Daivari joins the likes of Jason Jordan, Tyson Kidd and Adam Pearce working behind the scenes.
