Tyson Kidd Hopes Davey Boy Smith Jr. Returns To WWE

Will Davey Boy return?

Tyson Kidd hopes his former Hart Dynasty stablemate Davey Boy Smith Jr. returns to WWE.

"I don't know anything like official, but he's been gone for a decade and I've been trying to get him back this entire time. I think Harry has changed a lot in the last 10 years and I think WWE has changed a lot in the last 10 years. I think hopefully both will be happily surprised with how much the other has changed, and I hope it goes down. Hopefully, the pandemic has forced Harry's hand (laughing) that's how I'm looking at it," Kidd told That 90s Wrestling Podcast

Smith Jr. has been a free agent since he departed Major League Wrestling in December. The Canadian Bulldog previously revealed he has held talks with WWE but both sides have failed to agree to a deal as of yet. He appeared on WWE TV earlier this year during his father Davey Boy Smith's Hall Of Fame induction.

Smith Jr. previously wrestled in WWE from 2006 until his release in 2011. He then went on to perform extensively in Japan for NJPW and Pro Wrestling NOAH. The Canadian Bulldog also wrestled for MLW from 2018 until December 2020.
