Report: Sheamus Scheduled For WWE Return

One of WWE's top stars is scheduled to return this week.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Sheamus will be back on the road with WWE from Friday's edition of SmackDown in Indianapolis, Indiana. What Sheamus will be doing on the show has not been confirmed although speculation has suggested he will be involved at Survivor Series in a WarGames match. 

The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion was written off TV a couple of weeks ago with an attack from The Bloodline so he could marry longtime partner Isabella Rivera. They were married in New York City and Drew McIntyre, Claudio Castagnoli, and Miro were among the groomsmen for Sheamus' wedding. 

Already announced for Friday's episode of SmackDown is the start of the SmackDown World Cup, an eight-competitor tournament in which the winner will earn a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. The Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles will also be on the line as The New Day try and stop The Usos from breaking their record as the longest-reigning tag team champions in WWE history.
