Report: Sheamus To Miss "A Few Weeks" Following Nose Surgery

On the shelf for a few weeks

Sheamus is set to miss the WWE Draft.

The former WWE Champion underwent surgery to repair his broken nose yesterday and Mike Johnson of PWInsider noted Sheamus is expected to be on the shelf for a "few weeks" and will, therefore, miss the WWE Draft.

WWE's latest shake-up is set to begin on the October 1 edition of Friday Night SmackDown. It will then continue on the October 4 episode of Monday Night Raw.

Sheamus broke his nose for the second time in 2021 during his match against Jeff Hardy on September 20. The Celtic Warrior had been wearing a protective mask for the past few months but he lost the mask during the match and then rebroke his nose.

The 43-year-old initially broke his nose following a hard forearm shot from Humberto Carrillo back in May. Sheamus would continue to appear on Raw following the injury but he wouldn't step back inside the squared circle until a July 24 house show match against Drew McIntyre.
