All Elite Wrestling recently announced special guests will be present at the December 30 and January 6 New Year's Smash shows. The guests on December 30 have yet to be revealed but Snoop Dogg will be in attendance on January 6.
Many wondered if The Original Gangsta would be on commentary with Tony Schiavone, Excalibur and Jim Ross and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer reported Snoop will indeed be commentating on Dynamite.
The rapper's commentary was considered one of the highlights of the Roy Jones Jr. vs. Mike Tyson pay-per-view during which he compared the fight to two of his uncles fighting at a family barbeque. He also started spontaneously singing gospel music after Jake Paul knocked down Nate Robinson earlier in the night.
Snoop's upcoming appearance on Dynamite reportedly caused quite a stir within WWE and people in the company are "very upset" about the rapper being on TNT. The Original Gangsta has collaborated with WWE in the past, most recently ahead of Survivor Series 2020, and he is a WWE Hall Of Famer.
