Dec 10, 2020
All Elite Wrestling announced their holiday schedule yesterday and three special editions of Dynamite will take place at the end of 2020 and start of 2021. Holiday Bash will be on December 23 and New Year's Smash will follow on December 30 and January 6.
Special guests have been advertised for the two New Year's Smash events and Snoop Dogg is slated to appear on Dynamite on January 6. What Snoop will be doing on the show hasn't been announced, but he is a judge on the Go Big Show alongside Cody Rhodes.
Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that people in WWE are "very upset" about The Original Gangsta's upcoming appearance on Dynamite.
Alvarez said: "January 6 is New Year's Smash 2 with Snoop Dogg. And regarding Snoop Dogg, I do know there are people in WWE very upset that Snoop is appearing on this show."
Snoop Dogg has collaborated with WWE in the past, most recently ahead of Survivor Series 2020 where he interviewed The Undertaker and released a collection of clothing with The Phenom. He is also a WWE Hall Of Famer.
