AEW Announces Holiday Bash, New Year's Smash

More special Dynamite's incoming...

All Elite Wrestling announced their schedule for the holiday period last night and there will be three special editions of Dynamite to end 2020 and start 2021.

Holiday Bash will take place on December 23 and will air following the NBA match between Boston Celtics and Milwaukee Bucks. The tip-off is currently scheduled for 12:30 am GMT, so Dynamite will be on the air later than it's usual timeslot.

Holiday Bash will be followed up by the two-week event New Year's Smash on December 30 and January 6. Special guests have been advertised for both nights and Snoop Dogg will be at the January 6 show. Chris Jericho will be on commentary on December 30.

AEW has hosted multiple special editions of Dynamite in 2020, including Fyter Fest, Fight For The Fallen, Winter Is Coming and Bash At The Beach. Another special edition of Dynamite, Beach Break, will also air in January 2021.

Night two of New Year's Smash will go head to head with WWE NXT New Year's Evil. Finn Balor will defend the NXT Title on the show for the first time since NXT TakeOver: 31.
