Report: Stephanie McMahon Not Expected To Be Back In WWE 'Anytime Soon'

No Stephanie McMahon for a while in WWE

WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon is not expected to return to her duties for some time, according to a new report form PWInsider

Mike Johnson noted that WWE President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan is currently overseeing Stephanie's former team and that WWE may soon start seeking someone to overlook the company's brand marketing division.

He went on to further state that nobody he had spoken to was under the impression that Stephanie will be returning in the near future and that the company will have to take someone else on full-time.

It was also noted that nobody in the company (outside of a very small circle of people) was aware that Stephanie would be taking a leave of absence until she tweeted about it, at which point the news travelled quickly.

Stephanie tweeted on May 19 that she would be taking a leave of absence (effective May 20) in order to focus on her family and that she was looking forward to returning to the company after taking some time away.

Stephanie's husband Paul 'Triple H' Levesque suffered a serious cardiac event last year which necessitated his in-ring retirement, as well as led to diminished responsibilities as WWE's Executive Vice President, Global Talent Strategy & Development.
