Report: Update On Brock Lesnar's Status For WWE Money In The Bank

Brock Lesnar looks set to miss Money In The Bank

While Brock Lesnar was booked to appear and was advertised for the July 2 Money In The Bank pay-per-view from Las Vegas, Nevada, The Beast Incarnate may not be at the premium live event after all.

Following WWE's announcement that Money In The Bank would be moved from Allegiant Stadium to the smaller MGM Grand Garden Arena, several of the company's stars like Lesnar, Roman Reigns, and Ronda Rousey were pulled from advertisements for the event.

Now, Dave Meltzer has reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Lesnar's status for Money In the Bank is "up in the air" since he was only booked for the pay-per-view because it was set to be held in a stadium. Who the former WWE Champion was scheduled to face is unknown.

Lesnar has been off WWE TV since the main event of WrestleMania 38 when he dropped the WWE Title to Roman Reigns in their Championship Unification Match.

Roman Reigns' status for Money In The Bank is also up in the air. The WWE Universal Champion was internally scheduled to defend the title against Riddle at the July 2 show.
