All Elite Wrestling have significantly altered their live show model in recent months, with the promotion now running semi-regular house show events under the ‘House Rules’ banner.

With such a huge roster and only so many spots on TV each week, there had long been calls for AEW to run house shows, giving talent the opportunity to try new things in a low-pressure situation, whilst opening an extra revenue stream for AEW and tapping into new markets.

A report from PWInsider suggests that the house shows have been a hit with AEW talent, with talent reportedly saying the shows have been the most fun they’ve had performing as of late, with the shows said to have a "lack of the same type of pressure” that comes when producing television.

Indeed, it’s long been known that in WWE at least that house shows are a freer and more light-hearted affair, with talents allowed to play to the live audience and pull off stuff that wouldn’t fly or work on TV.
