Gene Snitsky Comments On His Pro-Wrestling Status After MLW Debut

Could Gene Snitsky have a longer MLW run?

Gene Snitsky has largely been out of the pro wrestling limelight since he was released by WWE in 2008, but the man who punted a baby made an appearance at Major League Wrestling on April 8, competing in the promotion's Battle Riot match.

If Snitsky will make future appearances in MLW is unknown but the 53-year-old didn't rule out having a longer run with the promotion.

"We'll have to wait and see," he told PWMania. "I'm not at liberty to say, but the crazy thing about pro wrestling is you never say never. And the response was overwhelming. The fans seem to have loved the spot. And you know, the fans have a lot of say in the rest of the business these days. So I would keep my eyes peeled if I was the wrestling fan because you never know where Snitsky will show up...but he's gonna show up in great shape. I look amazing. I feel amazing. I'm ruggedly handsome."

Since performing at the Battle Riot, Snitsky has continued to wrestle on the indies in New Jersey. He defeated Wrecking Ball Legursky on April 22 before losing by DQ to Afa Jr. on May 6.
