Report: Tamina's WWE Push Due To Fan Reaction at WrestleMania 37

She won the Women's Tag Team Titles with Natalya on SmackDown

Tamina's recent push in WWE is because of the immensely positive fan reaction she received at WrestleMania 37, according to a recent report.

Tamina was heavily cheered by the live WWE audience at 'The Showcase Of The Immortals' in April, as she and Natalya failed to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships from Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler.

Tamina has been a part of WWE for over a decade, having originally debuted alongside Jimmy and Jey Uso, but her recent run with Natalya has captured the imagination of a section of the WWE Universe.

She and Natalya finally claimed the Women's Tag Team Gold this past week on SmackDown and, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, her recent push comes because of that reaction at WrestleMania.

Meltzer said: "Tamina’s push came because the fans started chanting her name at WrestleMania, the one night, or the two nights that you actually have fans, and they (WWE) went with it.

"That was one of the stories at WrestleMania, was, cult reason or whatever, irony or whatever, the crowd got behind her and the decision was made (to push her)."
