Report: Texas Bullrope Match Under Consideration For Cody Rhodes Vs. Brock Lesnar III

Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar III might be a Texas Bullrope match

Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar's feud is set to continue into the summer, with reports recently indicating the two competitors will have their rubber match at SummerSlam on August 5 in Detroit, Michigan.

It was noted a stipulation that hasn't been used "in a while" will be booked for Rhodes vs. Lesnar III and Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has since reported one of the ideas on the table for the blow-off is a Bullrope Match. That being the stipulation is not currently set in stone and other ideas are on the table but a Bullrope Match has at least been pitched.

WWE have booked Texas Bullrope matches in the past, in which two wrestlers are tied together with a rope that often has a cowbell at each end. The match can either end in pinfall or submission, or in the case of Eddie Guerrero vs. JBL at Great American Bash 2004, a wrestler has to touch all four corners of the ring without interruption to emerge victorious.

Rhodes and Lesnar have been in a programme since the Raw after WrestleMania 39. Their series is currently tied at one win apiece.
