Report: The Revival Were Supposed To Receive New Look Before Leaving WWE

Can't imagine why they didn't, "Say Yeah"...

A week has passed since Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder of The Revival (or rather, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of The Revolt) each received their unconditional releases from WWE, close to 15 months after first wanting out of the company. The pair reportedly turned down offers of pay increases to sign a new deal and remain with WWE.

Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net has posted a report, revealing what the apparent "final creative plans" were for Harwood and Wheeler before they left the company. It would have involved a new look and new overall presentation, as they were going to be presented as a "comedy team".

Haynes posted photos that the tag team specialists were reportedly shown in their final meeting with Vince McMahon, in which the two were to dress in multi-colored attire with bow-ties, suspenders, skull caps (one mock-up has Wheeler wearing a Cat-in-the-Hat style lid) and two-tone, Jester-like shorts.

In each mock-up, Wheeler wears a large "SHATTER MACHINE" emblem around his neck on a chain, in the style to one of Flavor Flav's trademark clocks.
