Report: The Undertaker In Talks With WWE To Appear At WrestleMania 36

The Deadman could be back soon...

WrestleMania 35 was the first time in 19 years that The Undertaker had not appeared at The Showcase Of The Immortals. The Deadman was very much a staple of WrestleMania with the streak and even after losing to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30, he continued to appear at the event.

While many expected The Phenom to be at last year's Mania, he opted to instead return on the April 9, 2019, episode of Monday Night Raw when he interrupted Elias.

He then went on to face Goldberg in Saudi Arabia at Super ShowDown, and last wrestled in 2019 at Extreme Rules when he teamed with Roman Reigns to defeat Drew McIntyre & Shane McMahon.

Fans have been wondering when we can next expect Taker on WWE TV and while he is not currently booked for WrestleMania 36, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that The American Badass is currently in talks with WWE about making an appearance at the show.

For the avoidance of doubt, Meltzer wrote: "Right now Undertaker is not booked on the card, but the sides are in discussions regarding his participation."
