Report: TNA Interested In Recent WWE Tryout Attendees

WWE’s recent SummerSlam tryouts featured a whole host of promising names from the independent scene and talented athletes alike, though there is no guarantee that those involved will land a spot in WWE, even though with a highly regarded reputation on the independent scene. Not only that, but WWE is not the only professional wrestling company eyeing up young and up-and-coming talent, with some of these names also on TNA’s radar. 

According to a report from Fightful Select, TNA has an interest in some of the names featured at WWE’s recent tryouts. On the back of talk on J-Rod receiving interest from TNA before being announced as a member of the tryouts, another name has emerged as being someone who has caught the eyes of TNA in the former of Josh Bishop. 

It is noted that his work with 4th Rope Wrestling prompted the attention of TNA to turn his way. It isn’t stated whether or not TNA or WWE has made any overtures to bring in Bishop. There were some other notable names featured at WWE’s recent tryouts such as the former AEW wrestler Fuego Del Sol (now known as KJ Orso), plus several names which had been brought in by Hall Of Famer AJ Styles.
