While there has been intense tribalism between many All Elite Wrestling and WWE fans since AEW was founded in January 2019, particularly on social media, that need to establish division has reportedly extended to both promotions' locker rooms.

In a since-deleted tweet, Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast noted the Jacksonville Jaguars' decision to fire Head Coach Urban Meyer was heavily discussed amongst WWE talent, which came after negative articles from FOX Sports and Sportico about AEW.

Zarian then reported that a divide has been established within the WWE and AEW locker rooms to the point many talent wouldn't jump to the competition if they were presented with the opportunity.

"With that said there seems to be a divide happening between talent in both companies. Spoke to multiple sources yesterday & they feel like many would not go to the other side if there was an opportunity. 'Either you're team WWE or team AEW for many,'" Zarian tweeted.

"A few weeks ago I had mentioned that both sides feel in full competition with each other. Many are team WWE or team AEW at this point. Some may say this is full tribalism," he later added.

Tribalism is ultimately nothing new in professional wrestling and it was prevalent during the Monday Night Wars between WCW and WWF, something Tony Khan discussed back in October.
