Report: Trish Stratus Discussed For WWE Royal Rumble

A WWE legend could make their return at Saturday night's Royal Rumble pay-per-view/premium live event.

According to WrestleVotes on a Backstage Pass Q&A, Trish Stratus has been discussed within WWE for an appearance in the Women's Royal Rumble Match and WWE are bringing her to Indianapolis.

"I know it's been discussed. I know she will be in Indianapolis, I know WWE is bringing her in. I don't know specifically if it is for a Rumble appearance but I know it's been discussed. There's only so many women's legends they can call on, especially those that can still do it, and she's one of them. So if she's willing and they're willing, I'd say better than a good shot she's there," WrestleVotes said.

Trish Stratus hasn't wrestled for WWE since a Steel Cage Match loss to Becky Lynch at Payback 2023. Her most recent appearance for the company came in the Summer of 2024 when Stratus was the host of Money in the Bank.

Royal Rumble will emanate from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on February 1. Several names have been rumoured to be surprises in the Men's and Women's Royal Rumble matches.
