Report: Two Episodes Of WWE Raw Being Taped Tonight

To give talent some time off over Christmas.

In early November it was reported that the Monday Night Raw taping on December 17th at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa had been cancelled. While no exact reason was given, it was believed to have been caused by a scheduling conflict with the arena.

While WWE did not officially confirm that they had made alternative arrangements, according to Steven Fernandes at PWInsider, two episodes of Monday Night Raw will be taped tonight at the Wells Fargo Center in Des Moines, Iowa. While Raw would normally be broadcast live, The Wells Fargo Center website indicates the taping will begin at 5:45 PM, over an hour before tonight's episode will be broadcast.

WWE is taping the December 23rd episode of Raw in advance to give their talent some time off during the Christmas period. No WWE events will be held between December 22nd and December 26th.

Only one match has been announced for tonight's episode of Raw so far. Having been distracted by The Viper in recent weeks, AJ Styles will seek revenge as he goes one-on-one with Randy Orton.
