Report: Two NXT 2.0 Stars Potentially Called Up To WWE SmackDown

Could we be getting some call-ups soon?

Two names from NXT 2.0’s men’s division could reportedly be in line for a call-up to WWE SmackDown, according to reports.

After the latest SmackDown broadcast on July 15, WWE taped a backstage fight between Solo Sikoa and Von Wagner, with the official NXT Twitter account Tweeting a still from the fight, and proclaiming the full brawl will be shown on NXT 2.0 on July 19.

What’s noteworthy is the fact that Sikoa and Von Wagner were backstage at SmackDown, with WWE usually bringing potential call-ups to main to work dark matches to assess if they’re ready for the step-up or not. Sikoa in particular has been heavily rumoured to be on the verge of a call-up, and with his brothers The Usos and cousin Roman Reigns on SmackDown then this altercation becomes even more interesting.

However, the two filming their brawl at SmackDown could simply be a time and resource thing, as SmackDown was in the Amway Center which is only a matter of minutes away from the WWE Performance Center.
