Report: Uncle Howdy Not Planned For WWE Return

No more Uncle Howdy on WWE TV

Uncle Howdy has not appeared on WWE TV since February 2023 and the character looked to be finished following Bray Wyatt's shocking passing from a heart attack on August 24 at just 36 years old.

A report from Better Wrestling Experience earlier this month claimed it had been agreed within WWE for Uncle Howdy (portrayed by Bray's younger brother Bo Dallas) to take over the Firefly Funhouse and the previously planned Wyatt 6 faction in honour of Wyatt's memory.

Those plans are now off, though, BWE has claimed in a follow-up, tweeting: "Last I knew it was off after a few promising talks."

Where this leaves Bo Dallas in WWE is unclear but Dave Meltzer speculated in recent weeks on Wrestling Observer Radio the former NXT Champion might be finished with WWE once again.

"I think he's done. The only reason he was even being used was as a favour to Bray Wyatt. It's possible they'll use him, but I don't expect him to be back," Meltzer said.

Bo Dallas has had multiple runs with WWE, first from 2008 until 2021. He then returned in December 2022 as Uncle Howdy.
