Despite multiple trailers, a release date has yet to be announced for the upcoming AEW Fight Forever video game, with the title still billed as 'coming soon.'

In an update, Mike Straw of Mike Straw Media reported the plan in October was for Fight Forever to be released in February 2023, with February 7 being earmarked as a likely release date. With that date only two months away, though, it appears AEW and THQ Nordic may have cooled on Fight Forever being released then. If the title will be released earlier or later than February 7 is unknown.

"As of October, the plan was for AEW Fight Forever to launch in February, with February 7 as a date to keep an eye on. I've been asking again since that date is 2 months away, and the same sources who told me Feb. are now telling me to 'keep my eyes out'. Love vagueness," Straw tweeted.

AEW Fight Forever will be released on Xbox and Playstation consoles, as well as Nintendo Switch and PC. The series isn't planned to have an annual release with it being noted that Fight Forever will instead evolve over time. The game will have a roster of over 50 wrestlers upon release but the likes of Danhausen and Claudio Castagnoli will be absent.
