Report: Update On AEW Rampage Amidst Plans For Collision

AEW Rampage won't be going anywhere.

All Elite Wrestling already have three hours of programming every week on Warner Bros. Discovery networks with two hours of Dynamite on TBS and one hour of Rampage on TNT. The promotion is set to add a new show in the coming months, though, with reports indicating a new Saturday night series - AEW Collision - will premiere on June 17 from Chicago's United Center. The new show will air in the United States on TNT. 

This prompted some to speculate about the future of AEW Rampage but Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter it has been confirmed to him that Rampage will remain a one-hour show on Friday nights on TNT in the United States. 

Following the success of Dynamite and a growing roster, AEW introduced Rampage in August 2021. The Friday night show initially featured some major moments like Christian Cage's IMPACT World Title win over Kenny Omega and the debut of CM Punk but Rampage has since firmly established itself as a B-level show and ratings have reflected that. 

CM Punk will reportedly return on the inaugural edition of AEW Collision and a roster split will be introduced to keep Punk and the people who don't want to be in the same building as him separated. Meltzer noted that Rampage is likely to often feature talents on the Dynamite side of the roster since the Friday night show is regularly taped following a live episode of Dynamite on Wednesdays.

While Rampage will remain on AEW's schedule, it appears that Dark: Elevation - one of AEW's YouTube shows - has already been scrapped following a FITE TV listing this week.
