Mercedes Moné Spotted At Impact Tapings, Comments On Trinity's Debut

Mercedes Moné isn’t taking any time away from professional wrestling after losing the IWGP Women’s Championship to Mayu Iwatani, as she was spotted last night at the April 28 Impact Wrestling tapings. It wasn’t as a competitor though, as she was just in the crowd for the event. 

The reason for this was due to her close friend Trinity (FKA Naom in WWE) making her debut at the Impact tapings, marking her first foray back into the wrestling sphere following her walkout from WWE alongside Moné last year when the pair’s creative frustrations over the treatment of the women’s tag team division got too much. 

Moné has also since commented on Trinity’s debut in Impact in a tweet with her saying;

“@TheTrinity_Fatu is here to make an IMPACT!! She bout to knock out all competition & leave em in the rear view. Get it sis.”

This tweet made reference to Trinity’s WWE finishing move, the Rear View. She would also go on to post a photo of the pair hugging backstage.
