Report: Update On Angel Garza WWE Status After Raw Appearance
NXT star main roster bound?
Last night's WWE Raw saw Angel Garza make a shocking appearance alongside Zelina Vega.
With Andrade written off television for at least a month after violating WWE's wellness policy, former Cruiserweight Champion Garza turned up to take down Humberto Carrillo. Vega picked Garza to go after Humberto (who DDTd Andrade on the concrete floor last week) as they are cousins.
After laying out Humberto, Garza was met by Rey Mysterio. Mysterio and Garza had an impromptu singles match that was cut short after Angel DDTd Rey on the floor.
Dave Meltzer has been speaking on a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio and claimed Angel has not been moved to Raw on a permanent basis and is still officially a member of the NXT roster.
Meltzer also speculated that Mysterio could be set for a break from WWE following the angle that played out on Raw.
It has been reported by numerous sources online that the Humberto vs. Andrade feud is currently planned to go all the way through to WrestleMania 36.
