Report: Update On Bray Wyatt's Post-WWE Status

What's next for the former WWE champion?

It's been just over two months since Bray Wyatt (Windham Rotunda) was released from WWE, and many are wondering where the longtime WWE star will end up once he's free to sign elsewhere.

Some recent rumors have tabbed Wyatt as going to Impact Wrestling once free from his non-compete period (which ends in roughly four weeks). One story sourced Bryan Alvarez of Figure 4 Weekly in linking Wyatt to Impact, though Alvarez has never actually made this claim.

According to an update from Fightful Select, there is no deal in place for Wyatt to join Impact, nor is a deal close at press time. Fightful does add, however, that Impact is interested in acquiring Wyatt, and has asked one member of their roster that knows Wyatt to reach out to him for recruitment purposes.

Wyatt last wrestled for WWE on the second night of WrestleMania 37, on April 11 in Tampa. There (in his Fiend guise), Wyatt lost to Randy Orton in a short and bizarre match, after he was distracted by ally Alexa Bliss.
