Report: Update On Cesaro's Post-WWE Future

What next for Cesaro following his WWE exit?

While he hasn't been attached to a 90-day non-compete clause since his WWE contract expired in February, Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli) has yet to resurface in professional wrestling.

In an update, Fightful Select reported there has been plenty of interest in booking Cesaro and several promoters have reached out to The Swiss Cyborg but he has yet to accept any of their offers. Others, meanwhile, have simply not heard back from Cesaro.

One promoter believes they will be able to book him for a signing in July, however.

Many promoters noted to Fightful that Cesaro had priced them out of some bookings. Some talents have intentionally had a high asking price since they are happy to remain at home until the right offer emerges, but if that is the case with the 41-year-old is unclear.

Prior to his WWE departure, Cesaro and Vince McMahon's organisation had been in talks over a new deal but they were unable to agree to terms after Castagnoli received an offer he didn't like.

On the negotiations, Fightful reported Cesaro knew his value and he 'wasn't going to get into an unfavorable position.'
