Report: Update On Charlotte Flair's WWE Future

An update on Charlotte Flair's WWE future has emerged.

The multi-time women's champion has been off WWE TV since May's WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view, having been written out of storylines with a kayfabe injury after her "I Quit" Match with Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women's Title. Flair ultimately took time off for her wedding to AEW's Andrade El Idolo but she has remained away from TV ever since. 

Charlotte reportedly won't be gone for much longer, though, and Dave Meltzer stated in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Flair is scheduled to make her WWE return soon. Flair has discussed a potential return in recent weeks, hinting she could pursue the Raw Women's Championship when she resurfaces on TV. 

Andrade El Idolo recently addressed his wife's absence from WWE, revealing that she has taken additional time off for personal reasons which she will discuss in a future interview. He also noted that their relationship was good since he now gets to see her more but he is hoping she returns to TV soon.
