Report: Update On Edge's WWE Contract

Edge has been back in WWE since 2020

Since his miraculous return to the squared circle at the 2020 Royal Rumble, Edge has once again been featured as a top star in WWE with feuds against the likes of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Randy Orton, and currently Judgment Day.

The Rated-R Superstar has worked a part-time schedule since his return, often just disappearing from TV or being written off with injury angles.

In an update, Fightful Select reported that Edge's WWE deal is still only for limited dates but his contract may have been amended. It was initially reported after Edge's return that he signed a three-year deal for five matches and 25 appearances per year. Edge, however, competed in 10 matches in 2021 and he has already had six matches in 2022.

Edge did miss several months in 2020 after suffering a torn triceps in his match with Randy Orton at Backlash. If WWE froze his deal is unknown and Fightful noted they aren't sure when Edge's contract is set to expire.

The WWE Hall of Famer was last seen on WWE TV at October's Extreme Rules pay-per-view where he lost an "I Quit" Match to Finn Balor. Rumours suggest Edge will be back for the Royal Rumble on January 28 where he will likely face Finn Balor in a Hell in a Cell Match
